River Reach is a picturesque, twenty-two-acre, gated island community located directly on New River in the city of Fort Lauderdale. This charming condominium is home to a wide variety of people and their boats. The mid-rise condominium community consists of 6 buildings and 574 condominium residences, offering a unique waterfront living experience.
Spanning approximately 4,200 linear feet, flanked on the North and South by canals, and on the West of the New River, River Reach allows dockage for condo owners with vessels up to 50 feet. Sea Me Dive undertook the comprehensive reconstruction of the property’s dock and addressed the necessary repairs to the surrounding seawall. The renovations included installing Jet Filter Hydrostatic Release Systems, concrete restorations of batter piles and T-piles, sealing pressed concrete panels, and installing a toe wall footer beneath the bridge.
With over 3,700 linear feet of dock surrounding the island, Sea Me Dive demolished and rebuilt the dock to a higher standard, with marine-grade lumber framing, SST Hardware, and beautiful composite gray decking. River Reach now offers secure all-weather dockage suitable for power or sailing vessels, facilitating the exploration of navigable waterways and seamless ocean access without encountering fixed bridges.
